Cable tools | Motorized Peeling Tools, Series S
The Series S has become the standard for the cable industry, where these tools are used for preparing the manufacturing lengths of cables for testing with water terminations or other test terminations.
Four sizes of tools allow to cover the complete range of XLPE insulated cables rated 10 kV through 500 kV. The motorized tool allows to considerably speed up the peeling of the firmly bonded outer semi conductive layer.
New:
1. Smooth transition with flat knife
The new flat knife allows getting a very smooth transition between the insulation and the semicon layer. This reduces the finishing work before mounting of pre-molded accessories to a great extent.
2. Insulation stripping knife
All the motorized tools of Series S can now also be equipped with a base plate for an insulation stripping knife.
